Meet Mr. Dan, a passionate educator from Northern Michigan with a heart for working with young children. From an early age, he knew that his calling in life was to help shape the minds and hearts of the next generation.
While still in high school, Mr. Dan discovered his love for working with children and decided to pursue a career in education. He went on to earn a Masters degree in Special Education, a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. His formal education has given him a deep understanding of the technical aspects of teaching, but it is his innate ability to connect with children that truly sets him apart.
Mr. Dan has a remarkable talent for playfulness in almost any interaction. He understands that play is a crucial aspect of childhood development and uses it to expand the possibilities for children to experience life and engage with the world around them. Through his unique approach, Mr. Dan creates an environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their creativity and curiosity.
Growing up in a close-knit community with her three sisters, Brittni spent much of her childhood exploring nature and playing in the creeks of her hometown. It was during her time in college that she discovered her love for working with young children while studying in the childcare lab. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has since worked in various childcare centers across the country.
Brittni’s fluid practice with young children is a reflection of her years of meditation and practical insights gained through experience and reflection. Her presence has been described as gentle, like that of the moon illuminating the space around her while embracing those under her care. Brittni understands the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with her students and their families and has a deep respect for each child’s unique abilities and strengths.
